Located in Sierra Madre, California, MUNKA SWEET is a home kitchen specializing in small-batch, sugar-free confections.

Our offerings include chocolate covered salted caramels, nut butter bites, seasonal treats, and vegan goodies, all crafted by hand with zero added sugar and no compromise on flavor.

Atter several years of not finding what I wanted in the current “keto” market (a delicious plain caramel: rich, creamy and bite worthy with no sugar alcohols or chemical aftertaste), I made it a personal mission to create it myself.

I knew I wanted to use allulose (my favorite naturally derived sweetener), and that the caramel needed to be shelf stable “enough” to not fall apart despite using just a handful of “real” ingredients: allulose, dairy (butter, cocoa butter, cream), chicory root inulin fiber, vanilla & sea salt.

A caramel success turned into “how about a nut butter cup?” to friends asking “Can you please figure out a Dubai bar?” to me wondering, “Can I make this caramel without the dairy?…Why not do a vegan option?”

What was (and still is) a passion project has expanded to a small family operation where we are able to share our treats with other heath-minded friends and neighbors.

We are excited to now offer local delivery to Sierra Madre and neighboring communities, and hopefully continue to make appearances at local pop-ups and markets.
